There are six industry areas where you will find the members of IBEW Local 400.

Since May 1, 1994, the members of IBEW Local 351 have served the communities of Southern New Jersey by providing a highly-skilled workforce. This workforce consists of Inside Wiremen, Linemen, Telecommunications workers, Construction Wiremen/Electricians, Lighting Rod Installers, and Line Clearance Tree Trimmers.
We take pride in every one of our members, and it is our goal to ensure every job is on time and on budget. Our over 2000 members proudly service Atlantic, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Salem, and a majority of Burlington Counties. We also serve a portion of Ocean County (Line Division).
Our state-of-the-art, 20,000 square foot training facility is the backbone of our intensive five-year apprenticeship program, designed to equip our electricians with unparalleled expertise and precision. Local 164 includes more than 2,000 electricians, active in Bergen, Hudson and Essex counties on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, and more than 700 telecommunications workers contracted throughout the state. Members of Local 164 are the skilled artisans behind New Jersey’s landmark electrical and telecom projects, offering top-tier installations, repairs, and maintenance. Their expertise shines in their contributions to the state’s most iconic construction endeavors, showcasing unmatched skill and reliability.
These have included the George Washington Bridge, Lincoln and Holland tunnels, Meadowlands Sports Complex, mega-shopping centers such as Garden State Plaza and Newport Mall, leading entertainment venues like The Prudential Center, Red Bull Stadium, Newark Bears Stadium, and prominent office buildings along New Jersey’s Gold Coast.

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 456 was chartered on January 25, 1915. Since January 1, 2000, Local 456 jurisdiction was expanded to include all of Middlesex County and a part of Somerset County under the Inside Wireman agreement and the Outside Commercial Agreement.
Local 456 also has jurisdiction of outside utility contractors performing work on the property of Public Service Electric & Gas of New Jersey, Jersey Central Power & Light (GPU), Orange and Rockland Utilities in New Jersey, and Railroads. Jurisdiction of substation work in New Jersey is under the inside local’s commercial agreements.
In close partnership with the Northern New Jersey chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association and the Northeast Line Contractors, Local 456 commits to delivering an exceptionally trained and skilled workforce. This collaboration ensures our electricians are among the best-prepared in the industry, ready to tackle any project with expertise and confidence. Our contractors know that when they call on Local 456 for manpower, the job will be done right, safe, and on time.
With the direction of our Joint Apprenticeship and Training department, our members are ready to meet all the needs of the customer. We continuously offer training to our journeymen and journeywomen to stay ahead of the demands of the electrical construction trade.
